Tyger, Tyger, shining bright,
In the forests of the night ;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry ?
– By William Blake
With this poem as inspiration, I created this piece of art… The tiger is considered a work of art, being admired for his looks and ferocity while at the same time thought of as a representation of evil and experience. However, my tiger doesn’t look ferocious – but rather friendly. Why ? With the world trying to break stereotype barriers in the human world, isn’t it time for us to change our perception towards animals as well ?
