I’m an artist who is absolutely in love with nature. Through my art, I aim to capture the essence of the natural world and inspire others to appreciate and protect it.

In my Jungle Series, I have depicted ‘ferocious’ animals in a soft, happy way. “We always speak of racial bias in the human world, but when we think of the Lion, for example, it is always wild and attacking. Why can’t we think of animals such as lions, tigers etc. as gentle, loving animals. Sly fox, clever hen, foolish donkey…the list goes on and on. We are indoctrinated with these views as we grow up and associate these traits with these animals forever. Isn’t it time for us to change our perception towards animals as well ?’

My ‘Circle of Life’ series has artworks which define what the circle of life means to me. Through the use of circles in different semi-abstract ways, I want to bring out various facets of human life. I feel that every human being has to go through a variety of ‘circles’ in their lifetime, which also keep changing and evolving as life progresses.

But if we want to remain happy and connected with our inner-self, we need to keep nature as a part of our circles of life. With themes such as The 5 Elements, The Sun, Growth Unalome etc. in this series, I want viewers to always, always keep nature as a part of their lives.

Botanika celebrates nature in its full glory. It is aimed at bringing positivity, happiness, greenery and peace. I have used several motifs, to create a lively, pulsating and energetic feel through a soothing, yet, vibrant color palette.

Amidst the bustling urban landscape of my home in Hyderabad, I immerse myself in the creation of paintings that overflow with textured layers, brimming with organic shapes and profound symbolism. I follow a meticulous process where I dedicate myself to working on the base layer, persevering until the final result fills me with a deep sense of satisfaction.

In fact, I don’t even prepare sketches – it all comes together visually for me as I keep thinking about it. I use a multitude of materials such as acrylics, pigments, water colors, and pens – my busy elaborate canvases have it all.
